The famous and iconic ‘Ferry Jumper’ is unique to the Isle of Skye Ferry CIC. Crafted from the finest lambswool with classic embroidered lettering and bespoke Port and Starboard diamonds on the sleeves. It is stylish and practical and will be instantly recognisable wherever you go.

Christopher Main was a founding member of the Ferry Charity. He gave unrivalled support and enthusiasm to help save the essential Skye Ferry at a time when its very existence was in question. 

Without Chris the Skye Ferry would simply not exist as it does today. He fundraised, brainstormed and passionately advertised the Skye Ferry wherever he went. Most of the time whilst wearing his trademark ‘Ferry Jumper’, which he also designed.

Remembered dearly for instilling a sense of community ownership along with promoting the impulse to volunteer in all who were lucky enough to spend time with him. The Christopher Main Shore Station is named in his memory.
